Business Development Officer, CAVA II Project- Tanzania
Paulo Simon Enecko is the Business Development Officer for Cassava: Adding Value for Africa Project (CAVA II) in the Lake Zone, Tanzania. He has BSc. in Agriculture Economics and Agribusiness from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania.
While pursuing his BSc. he participated in Monitoring and Evaluation in horticultural project that was implemented by Tanzania Agricultural Productivity Program (TAPP) as his field attachment. He was also involved in training farmers on agribusiness skills and entrepreneurship under Soya niPesa (SnP) project, implemented by Women and Poverty Alleviation Tanzania (WOPATA) as partner of Catholic Relief Services (CRS). He later participated in cassava post-harvest research at IITA- Tanzania. At IITA, he led a group of young entrepreneurs in agriculture who were supported and mentored to become models for combating unemployment in Africa.
Paulo has a passion for sustainable Agribusiness development for small and medium enterprises in rural Africa. He is committed to building the capacity of small and medium Agribusinesses in rural Africa.
